Most Influential Teacher!!

Daily writing prompt
Who was your most influential teacher? Why?

I would have to say my most influential teacher was my choir director in high school. There was a point my junior and senior year where I felt really lost and alone. I used to get bullied a bunch in school and honestly a bunch of it happened right there in class, there was one particular time when a girl really just upset me. I was already in a bad mood because my mom had said something really rude and mean and whatever the girl had said right then really was just the icing on the cake. I went to her office just to get out of the room and she told me I could stay in her office as long as I needed to. While I was sitting there and just bawling my eyes out she sat there and just listened to me. She sat there and just let me vent all of my problems and from that moment on I knew that I could count on her for just about anything she really became my voice of reason and really helped me get through the last few years of high school. She is the reason that I want to be a teacher, because she sat there and helped me feel better and just gave me exactly what I needed when she didn’t have to.

My Daily Wish!

Daily writing prompt
What do you wish you could do more every day?

Something that I wish about daily is nothing lol. I really don’t believe in wishes because wishes will never come true. I believe that God will give us the desires of our hearts if we stay true and faithful he has the power to do all things but only if we help ourselves and live our life by his path and by his word. I love that my faith has helped me live this way I know that I can put all my trust into him and that I will be okay. I have wanted peace in my life for so long and I have always cried out wishing for that one thing and once I cried and cried all of those angry tears (took me years) but once they were all gone I really did find peace! Don’t get me wrong I still cry haha but I cry more so with him than crying at him and questioning him. So I guess my Daily “wish” is for wisdom and understanding of God’s word that has been another major thing that I have prayed for because I honestly feel so lost at times when reading so I pray that he will help me understand. I hope that whoever reads this has had a seed planted in them.
